PREP4BLUE co-design workshop

In mid-October, the PREP4BLUE project is organising a co-design workshop, back-to-back with the European cities and regions week in Brussels, to boost collaboration between a wide range of stakeholders for the development of key recommendations for impactful stakeholder engagement methods for future key Mission R&I core activities.

The EU Mission: Restore our Ocean, Seas and Waters, expands the scope of research and innovation. The Mission approach in R&I involves a change of paradigm in the scientific approach, by combining new forms of governance and cooperation, to ensure that everyone can co-design and co-implement innovative solutions to contribute to the restoration of our ocean, seas and waters by 2030.

PREP4BLUE will identify the best methods to ensure that each actor can play their part in the Mission. To this end, a co-design workshop will take place in mid-October (17, 18 or 19 October; final date to be determined soon).

The workshop will offer the opportunity to a wide range of experts to participate in the workshop and eg to showcase a relevant stakeholder engagement method, implemented in their project, community and territory. Also several issues and challenges will be discussed after our key-note speakers presentations. A more detailed agenda will follow soon.
